TRACE · four working gestures, measured live
It shows its work.
Every gesture on this page is recorded as it happens and drawn back as an instrument trace. Nothing below is authored data: you will make all of it.
Rows carry momentum.
This list is real: drop a row and the page reorders its own studies beneath you. Flick it; the release velocity carries.
The card resists.
Past the threshold the drag gains resistance; a committed flick leaves, a hesitant one snaps home. Velocity decides, not distance alone.
Leaving is a decision, so the card argues back. The resistance curve is drawn as you pull.
The scrubber replays you.
Whatever you last dragged above was recorded at your own cadence. Scrub it back; the puck rides your curve, and the readout prints your velocity at the playhead.
The panel never snaps.
Press it mid-flight and it re-aims without a jump: the spring keeps its velocity and bends toward the new intent. The seam shows in the trace.

Motion you can hold to account.
If an interface should answer the hand like this, the same system builds it in any register.
One of four use cases of THE REGISTERS, in its motion register. One page, zero libraries; every number above was measured from your own hand.
